Terms of Use
Last updated: March 1, 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the MetriLLM website and services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of the service
MetriLLM provides an open-source CLI tool for benchmarking local LLM inference, and a public website displaying aggregated benchmark results (the "Leaderboard"). The CLI is licensed under the Apache 2.0 license. The website code and dataset are proprietary.
3. Benchmark submissions
3a. Opt-in only
Submitting benchmark results to MetriLLM is entirely voluntary. Results are only
uploaded when you explicitly use the --share flag.
3b. Public data
All submitted results are public by default. By uploading, you grant MetriLLM a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, aggregate, and redistribute the submitted benchmark data as part of the Leaderboard and related services.
3c. Accuracy
You agree not to submit intentionally falsified, manipulated, or misleading results. MetriLLM reserves the right to remove any result that appears fraudulent or anomalous.
3d. Removal
You may request removal of a specific result by contacting contact@metrillm.com with the result ID.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape or bulk-download the Leaderboard data without permission
- Submit automated or bot-generated benchmark results
- Attempt to manipulate rankings or game the scoring system
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
5. Intellectual property
The MetriLLM name, logo, website design, ranking algorithms, and aggregated dataset are proprietary. The CLI source code is open source under the Apache 2.0 license. Individual benchmark data points submitted by users remain factual data; the aggregated, curated dataset as a whole is proprietary.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Benchmark results reflect specific hardware/software configurations at a point in time and should not be taken as absolute performance guarantees. MetriLLM is not responsible for purchasing decisions made based on benchmark data.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MetriLLM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page.
9. Contact
For questions about these Terms, email contact@metrillm.com.
